web developer - (Singaporean/PR Only) - Central Area

Our client is a daily deal website that advertises and sells local merchants offers at 50% to 90% discount. In order to reinforce its presence in the region, this fast growing internet voucher platform is looking for a Web Application Developer
Responsibilities:

Support the existing web application as well as design and develop new features.
Monitor the operation of the web application and ensure all systems are running smoothly.
Perform complete testing of new and existing features.
Troubleshoot technical issues and attend to customer complaints.

Requirements:
Bachelors Degree or Equivalent experience in computer science or related field
At least 1 year of experience in Web Development
Able to work in a varied, fast paced environment with a passion to produce great websites
Able to work independently and efficiently to meet deadlines.
Able to keep up with the latest that the web has to offer while combining new technology with creative innovations to produce a wonderful user experience
Able to promptly answer support related email, phone calls and other electronic communications.
Self motivated, detail-oriented and organized.
Proficient in Internet related applications such as E-Mail clients, FTP clients and Web Browsers.

Desired Skills
Able to adhere to standards and best practices of web design.
Able to design user friendly interfaces and produce standards compliant code with cross-browser support.
Able to integrate web application with 3rd party APIs such as social networks and payment gateways.

Programming/Scripting Languages
HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP

Tools
PHPStorm (or similar IDE)
Photoshop (or other image editing software)

Knowledge of the following would be advantageous
jQuery javascript framework
CodeIgniter PHP framework
Facebook/Twitter/PayPal APIs
