Shop Managers
Our client is a French women’s wear fashion company operating in Asia.
For this client, Timeo-Performance is now recruiting Shop Managers based in Singapore
Direct Report: Area Manager
Job Purpose: Develop shop sales performance and manage shop staff in compliance with the company’s sales, management and HR policies

Responsibilities:
1- Sales
Steering:

-Take part in defining shop’s sales objectives in collaboration with the Area Manager
- Along with the team, suggest and carry out actions aimed at increasing business. To do so:
- Inform staff of sales objectives and sales policy orientations
- Plan and organise relevant actions,
- Keep them alive within the staff (monitor performance, sales parameters, information, training…).
Selling:

- Welcoming all visitors
- Making contact with them
- Listening to and identifying their needs
- Suggesting product(s) with supporting arguments
- Closing sales
Communication:

Personify, convey and valorise our client’s brand image in front of customers through adequate behaviour (enthusiastic, dynamic, team-spirited and sense of initiative) and appearance (dress code, hairdo...)

2- Merchandising
Ensure compliance with sales requirements and company standards in terms of merchandising and windows setting
Steer timeliest possible product implementation in store
Report any quality problem encountered with the collection


3- Management
Work organisation:

- Organise staff’s work and schedule to best suit relevant business requirements in compliance with legal and contractual procedures
- Measure orientations efficiency by monitoring relevant parameters and adapt them if required
Motivation:

-Valorise and/or enhance staff’s assignments in order to keep motivation up regardless of the context
Skills development:

- Ensure required skills are available
- Develop skills using available means: training, information, advice...
Control:

-Ensure compliance with applicable shop procedures, namely in terms of labour rights, pay and safety
Recruitment:

-Recruit Assistant Managers and Fashion Advisors in collaboration with Area Manager

4- Shop management
Cash operations:

- Control or perform in person all cash operations (opening, cash-in, closure and bank deposit) and ensure due application of relevant procedures (staff training...).
Cost control:

- Take part in managing controllable costs in the operating account in order to optimise results.
- Raise staff’s awareness with respect to cost control
Stock management and protection:

- Contribute to ensuring stock quality and proper level through constant stock monitoring
- Report any drift (out-of-stock) to the retail supplier or dispatcher in order to set up corrective actions
- Master shrinkage: ensure proper application of the procedures, report any external shrinkage to Area Manager
- Report any late delivery to the Transport Department or Area Manager.
- Perform inventories
- Ensure enforcement of audit results
Environment/Concept:

- Ensure proper shop environment:
- Maintain shop
- Report any problem (power failure, air conditioning…) to the Technical Department
- Ensure external service providers call-outs (maintenance, windows...) and report any drift to the Technical Department

Requirements:
Qualifications/Languages: 2 years higher education in Sales
Experience: Sales + management
