Marinco Asia Pte Ltd based in Singapore is a personnel provide to the international oil and gas industry. We provide full range of marine and offshore personnel.
We have a requirement for a Project Manager for our client. Job location will be in a shipyard in Indonesia. Details as follows:
MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB
Assist and support Production Manager in managing new construction projects
Reports to: Production Manager
TASK AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Report to General Manager/Production Manager on construction activities pertaining to project
Prepare project schedule, monitor and control project progress
Coordinate project activities, conduct project meeting in order to keep project progress on schedule
Identifies the resources needed and assigns collective and individual responsibilities
Identify & anticipate risks that might impact schedule & propose solutions to mitigate together with Production Manager
Coordinate contractors & manager co-activity on board
Approves material requisition for project, monitor and control project cost
Resolve technical issue pertaining to construction
Liaise with the Owner representative. Appointed to settle additional request from Owner's side within budget allocated by General Manager
Liaise with HSE Manager & follow strictly safety procedures
Liaise with QNQC department & coordinate QNQC check in order to deliver Project according to Class & Owner requirement in terms of quality
Liaise with Class Surveyor for all site surveys. Responsible to follow up all Class comments & manage to close them with QNQC support
Liaise with Design Department in order to received drawing on time to support work progress
COMPETENCIES
Diploma/Degree in Shipbuilding or Marine Engineering
Experience in handling similar job 5 years
Computer proficiency of Ms Office, Ms Project
Familiar and conversant with documentation and reporting
Able to communicate in English, Bahasa Indonesia, & Filipino
Must have shipyard experience
Should be familiar working with dynamic positioning vessel
Managerial
Strong Communication skills
Interpersonal relations and ability to manage people
Excellent/Achievement Motivation, global mindset
Personal Qualities
Disciplined - Physically fit
Mature and strong leadership
Fair and objective
