Company Description

Our client, a well-established player which designs and distributes fashion accessories, is looking for a Head of Cosmetics based in Jakarta

Job purpose:

•Handle the full development of the cosmetics division of the company: perfumes, skin care, hair care, body care and care tools
•Ensure the cosmetics production follow up with the manufacturers: delivery time and quality concerns
•Increase the cosmetics sales volume from 5% to 20%


Main responsibilities:

1) Product development

•Liaise with the product developers to find and purchase the right product according to the marketing recommendations
•Deal with the product specifications in the development and purchasing process with the supplier(s)
2) Marketing
•Plan and execute overall marketing strategies and programs.
•Analyze and determine current trends, strategic pricing and best practices within the category.
•Recommend new products needs and promotional strategies based on competitor's activities and other industry sources
•Understand the evolutions of the client needs
•Enhance brand image
3) Production management

•Build strong partnerships with manufacturers
• Establish a demand planning to ensure accurate product forecasting to meet sales trends and customer needs
•Quality control

4) Operational Effectiveness management

•Build then maximize customer loyalty to expand business volume
•Drive supply chain and product development strategic changes with the objective of delivering financial goals, in addition to improving quality, service and resource use.
•Ensure development of expertise and know-how and support organization changes

Qualifications

•Strongly passionate about cosmetics
•Minimum 7 to 10 years working experience in the cosmetics field in a similar position
•Highly skilled in product management
•Strong manufacturing and production project management experience
•Good exposure to cosmetics distributor channels and suppliers management
•Experience in marketing planning, cost control, and PL management.
